Headroom is a small company of designers and community artists. We are setting up a social enterprise that is a response to a culture where stress, anxiety and depression are affecting more and more people. We provide a new and creative way of tackling this societal problem - by creating safe spaces where users can focus on cultivating a sense of calmness, wellbeing and positivity, to improve peace of mind and quality of life.
We design and make interactive, multi-sensory Pods.
The pods are structures made of natural and sustainable materials, large enough for one person to sit comfortably inside. Inside the pods are multi-speaker surround-sound installations or headphones, which immerse the user in a relaxing soundscape.
